Frequently Asked Questions

Everything parents and students ask before starting online Quran classes

Is it safe for my child to take Quran classes online?

Ask any online teacher these three questions before you enroll your child. Can a parent join the class at any time without warning? Does the teacher ever ask for personal details like your child’s school or address? Is the teacher a single, named, verifiable person, or an unnamed pool of tutors? With me, the answers are yes, no, and one named person, which is me.

How long is each class, and how many do I need per week?

Each class is 30 minutes. Most families start with 3 classes a week and move up to 4 or 5 as their child gets used to the routine.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. Every new student gets two free trial classes before any payment is made, so you can see how I teach before you commit to anything.

What is the difference between Tajweed and Hifz?

Tajweed is learning to read the Quran with the correct pronunciation and rules. Hifz is memorizing the Quran by heart. Most students learn Tajweed first, then move to Hifz once their reading is strong.

Can I switch between plans later?

Yes. You can move up or down between the Starter, Standard, and Premium plans at any time, and there is no long contract locking you in.

What if my child cannot focus or sit still?

This is completely normal, especially for children under six. I build the first few weeks around getting comfortable, not around results. Many parents tell me their child’s attention improves within a month once the routine feels familiar.

Do you teach adults, or only children?

Both. I teach adult women who are beginners, women who want to improve their Tajweed, and women working toward Hifz, along with children of all ages.

Do you teach boys as well as girls?

Yes. I teach children of any gender, along with adult women. The one group I do not teach is adult men, since this service is built specifically for women and children who want a female teacher.

What age can my child start?

Children as young as four or five can begin with Noorani Qaida or simple duas. There is no fixed right age to start. What matters more is starting gently, with stories and repetition, rather than forcing memorization too early.

Do you offer a sibling discount?

Yes. The second child from the same family gets 20% off their monthly plan.

What if I need to reschedule or miss a class?

Just message me on WhatsApp ahead of time and we will find another slot that week. Life happens, and I would rather reschedule than have you feel guilty about missing a class.

Do you provide any certificate or progress report?

Yes. I send a short weekly update on what was covered and how your child is doing, and I can provide a completion note when a course, such as Noorani Qaida, is finished.

What if my child loses interest after a few weeks?

This is common with any new routine. I adjust the pace, add more revision games for younger children, and talk to parents directly about what is and is not working, rather than continuing a plan that is not landing.

Is there a registration or setup fee?

No. There is no signup fee, no software to buy, and no charge for the two free trial classes. You only pay the monthly plan once you decide to continue.

What countries do you currently teach in?

Most of my students are in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Gulf countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, but I teach any family with a stable internet connection, wherever you are in the world.

Still have a question?

Message me directly on WhatsApp and I will answer personally, usually within a few hours.

Do you have an Ijazah, and what does that mean?

Yes. Alongside my certification from Wifaq ul Madaris Al Arabia Pakistan, I hold an Ijazah (a formal sanad, or chain of authorization) in Quran recitation. This means my own recitation was checked and approved by a qualified teacher before I was authorized to pass it on, the same way Quran recitation has been verified from teacher to student for centuries. It is one more way to know you are learning from someone whose own reading has been checked, not just someone who read the Quran on their own.

What if my child or I am not happy after starting paid classes?

You get two free trial classes before you pay anything, so you already know what to expect. But if you start paid classes and are still not satisfied, I will give you an extra free class to fix whatever is not working, and if you are still not happy after that, I will refund your payment. You are not locked into anything.

Do you teach new Muslims (reverts)?

Yes. I have taught new Muslims from the very beginning, including the meaning of the Shahada, how to pray, and reading Quran starting with the Arabic alphabet. There is no assumption that you already know anything, and classes are in English. See the classes for new Muslims page for details.
